NFL has a tradition of throwing out the ceremonial first championship game kickoff. San Francisco's Golden State Warriors threw out the ceremonial first championship game kickoff for the 1994 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. Since the 2006 regular season, the franchise at one point ranked 11th on the list and is the only professional sports franchise without a perfect regular season since 2012. With Seattle's Super Bowl victory last week, Colin Kaepernick caa all about his opponent, which was the San Francisco 49ers' Seahawks.


According to our video package of the 2017-18 season, both teams featured former and current NFL players on their rosters. Both the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49er’s had several former players on their rosters, including Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch, Michael Crabtree, Torrey Smith, EJ Manuel, Ed Reed, Matt Ryan, William Jackson III, Richard Sherman, Demarcus Beasley, Russell Wilson, KIFI and Lawrence Taylor.


The NFL officially eliminated the All Star Game, which was held in each team’s house while the team was playing another team during the regular season. While the All Star Game is named after two teams, the Super Bowl is named after the two clubs that met in the Super Bowl. The All Star Game eventually became a separate event from the Super Bowl, which then became known as the Super Bowl Experience.


In its 16 years, the Super Bowl Experience held between the Super Bowl and Super Bowl has grown to 13 events. Since the expansion of the NFL to 26 franchises in 1983, the NFL’s Super Bowl has grown from being a preseason play-off to an event it regularly holds annually. The first Super Bowl was held in 1970 and the most recent Super Bowl was held in 2000. The event features some 100 games throughout five days, with approximately 17,000 people viewing the Super Bowl.


With its 82,506 total tickets sold, the Super Bowl is averaging $75.1 million in economic impact, according to the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The Super Bowl has now been in the Super Bowl Experience since 1980.


There have been numerous popular and controversial Super Bowl games. Among the contentious moments is the infamous 2004 rivalry game played between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys.
