Voters Are Rationally Ignorant Because Of The

Infernal Contract: End Awe-Inspiring Worthy Fantasy TV Series.

Why would any intelligent voter do anything other than vote? If voting is mandatory, this gets much more complicated. Most of the non-elite voters are simply clueless how it can be done. But that's why you have a great challenge ahead of you. You don't even need to ask the people who give you a buck on the dollar! By every indicator, they have no ability whatsoever to perform the basic duties of a civilized voter. For them, it's only for a dollar. But with my little solutions, we may actually end up living in a very lucky future....

What's the solution? The easiest and most sensible route to take is to join forces with educated social minds. To make our country so much better we need to inculcate an independent, educated populace while at the same time curbing corporations from trashing the people's hard won rights.

In the first scenario, the only single thing that the social mind knows is that voting is mandatory. And this sets them up for failure. But we need to encourage reasoned thinking as well. This means not dismissing feelings when they manifest themselves; it also means always helping them to grow and expand beyond mere selfish motives. From the movie The Time Traveler's Wife all the way to season three of Homeland these shows have made us painfully aware of what our society can and cannot do. Those who understand their place in the universe, and by that I mean those of us who were given the freedom to explore and love ourselves, can save us from ourselves. We need to be educated by intelligent and reasoned sources, not lazy ones. This is the most important thing we can do.

The second scenario is considerably more complicated. With the state having already achieved near-total monopoly control of education, there's no longer a viable point of debate about what we should learn. The vast majority of the public is unimpressed anyway. But the fact that they're in positions of power is a strong indication that they weren't educated properly. They went to school for a few years and returned convinced that they needed to get lots of money and a library card to gain new knowledge and skills. Sadly, for the most part, they're doing just that.
