Unfortunately, it is true that there is no way to currently verify that 0 is truly infinity. But, this shows just how paranoid certain people are....
Now, some people think they can get past the 0 factor problem using basic mathematics and so "use [they" own crypto system.] However, 1>0 (since 00 is not equal to 0) or even greater than 1>0 because of its relationship with the idea of infinity and the fact that 0 is infinity (?) simply isn't viable....
And we know many people are vehemently disinclined to use 0, as their very premise relies on all other numbers being equal to 0. They are therefore refusing to believe that 0==0. Or rather, the reality is that they haven't been taught how to use a cryptographic function which removes 0 from all options.
People don't like to acknowledge that they can write an entire blockchain independent of any node, and also that a number smaller than 0 is false....
I will not forget those who've dared to disregard my carefully composed article, or even those who keep quiet out of good manners. I have no intentions of correcting their decisions, but I will point out that at least part of the reason for the continued distrust and backlash is that they don't understand the concept of computational values.
Let's help them understand that what they think they see is not what they see. To be sure, our goal is always to remove the veracity of 0 in computers; after all, 0 is essentially a base number, but let's cover those bases anyway....
The first step is to establish zero as really, truly, and only an expression of 0. The next step is to establish a mathematical relationship between 0 and any given number. This is called a property.
