Actor Lance Kerwin Death Cause
There have been many inquiries sent in by the public and it seems that the name of the band is most likely false. Recently I received a call from a girl friend claiming to be the second band named Slayer: The Long Night, although I suspect that this was simply an attempt to pull the wool over our eyes.
I spoke with Chuck Johnson of Slayer: The Long Night on Friday around 8:33am. Chuck was calling me from his home located in Oxford, Wisconsin. His phone was picked up by Jon Parrino, Slayer: The Long Night bassist, and then a small conversation ensued. The conversation lasted for about five minutes. I cannot speculate on the accuracy of this caller.
We talked about Chris Stanley as well, and had a good chat about the band history. Our conversation went as follows:
“As far as the previous Slayer bands, like: Out Of Time, and Reign In Blood, I’m not sure if any of them are true or not. You guys have no official statement whatsoever, so I believe that you could do a very major search and find out. There was also one from Out of Time, which is listed as the biggest band during their days in England; whereas I believe you weren’t the biggest band ever. All of these people were probably just after a large payout. I also believe there’s no concrete proof that either of you are any of those people.”
“The name of the band should possibly be known as “The House that John Built.”
At this point I started relating all of the different people I’ve spoken with who are concerned about the possibility of a false name being used for the band. I shared all of these details with another Slayer fan, Ted Schulte, whom I met outside the restaurant where we were meeting for lunch. I asked the question that was on my mind:
“Who is going to see Slayer: The Long Night in a few months?”
Ted, apparently a friend of mine, replied, “I wish I knew.”
“It’d be nice if they did an interview or something before the show.
