Fortnite Eliminate Opponents With No Ranged Weapons

Arcade game Fortnite: Battle Royale is the premier new “free-to-play” shooter released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. After the first intense wave of popularity with nearly 2.5 million gamers spent just under $7 billion on games in 2018, Fortnite has been savoring the most rapid growth in gaming history.

The vast majority of Fortnite players are young and male. Therefore, a marketing strategy must be developed to reach a segmentation of gamers that are older and female. On October 26th, 2018, we reported that Epic Games has launched their “Fortnite Battle Pass”, meaning a free 30 day micro-transactions player acquisition program.

Epic Games themselves have informed fans about some interesting things happening from now until September 5th. In this post, we are going to provide some general information around Epic Games’ Fortnite “Battle Pass” and also discuss some major sales channels.

As you might know, Epic Games has produced their Fortnite Battle Pass for Players who can use Fortnite on a console. For consoles, Epic Games’ Battle Pass offers the ability to obtain unlimited gems in each level of Fortnite by paying for the game (2,500 Gems will be enough for many players). There are five main tiers of purchasable Gems and they work like follows:

Tier 1: 75 Gems (2x)

Tier 2: 150 Gems (5x)

Tier 3: 300 GEMS (10x)

Tier 4: 450 Gem (25x)

Tier 5: 750 Gem (50x)

Once entered, you basically take away your character and play as one of the different characters available. You cannot unlock Tier 5 or Tier 7 by spending 50 gems.

The real key feature of the Battle Pass is the Tracing Game System. Each level of each video game is controlled by different people. Epic Games are targeting “influence grinders” such as professionals or influencers.
