Who were the five greatest, supporting characters from Deathly Hallows, part III? [Vote] Was at least one of those ever really bad in the first place?* Is your favorite supporting character from the last two movies particularly solid? * Is there any proof that the support character is particularly solid/good in their own right?

*Note: these votes aren't compulsory, but they've been collected over the course of the series - just set your DBR watch to March 27th. And I'm hopeful you'll see other talented muggles adding support characters later than the next time. Hopefully this does a good enough job of running down all of them.

5. Percy Weasley (first of the evil trio)

Liked him as much as I hated Voldermort.

Wasn't really useful as the focus of the storyline and never exactly stood out -- even when you saw them together.


Had three main pieces of villains, but only really got one of them. There's the moment one of them manages to throw the Sword of Gryffindor into a trap so nobody gets out with Voldermort, even though a bunch of other Dementors have gotten away. Then she finds Snape, with Voldemort trying to steal his wand, and at the very end she just holds up her hand and says "Voldemort is leaving", essentially making him appear. It made more sense to me when Voldermort said it to Ollivander rather than Harry himself.


4. Peter Pettigrew (least terrible companion)


Liked him a lot. Had a great sidekick.


Was the second partner for Harry (the second half of Deathly Hallows) who really was a complete incompetent (and that was with Lily). So much so that after the end of DH6, he ended up being put in charge of Ministry business again by Ginny. It didn't change the fact that he wasn't really very good at it.
