Margot Robbie Reese Mcguire

Born on August 17, 1988, in Lancaster, Texas, the 16-year-old actress garnered a “highly sought-after” acting role at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009, when she won the Oscar for playing a middle school teacher in Rain Man. But what caught the eye of Reese Mcguire was something more substantial than a winning performance: Mcguire left her hometown of Crawford County behind by attending nearby Abilene Christian University (ACU) in January 2010, just after starting high school. She studied Spanish, French and accounting before working several different jobs before finally landing a much coveted spot at the “Dramatic Studio” there in Fall 2012, studying for her English degree as well. Mcguire credits the small school with being particularly good to her as she felt both shy and self-conscious about her gender; “I went there because my boyfriend’s parents are teachers there,” she explains. “They obviously love teaching and I’ve had many messages from people who actually want to be teachers. I feel comfortable doing that and I should be able to excel at that.”


McGuire eventually started filming video clips for her online lifestyle magazine site AboutTime in fall 2013, but it was in the summer of 2017 that her mother found out that Reese was preparing to become a mom. Mcguire then found out while watching The Ultimate Fighter on television that she was five months along, meaning that she also had picked up the “biological female” bug like the one her parents were tracking. That month, Mcguire became pregnant and told her parents she didn’t need a period. Mcguire’s pregnancy was complicated by alcohol abuse issues. The boy was born March 3, 2018, named Kieran Daniel Marshall Hill. Reese McCully is excited to help this little guy have a big impact on this community.

She is primarily known for roles in action films, and has appeared in episodic television series such as True Blood. Born in Austin, Texas, Mcguire moved to Las Vegas at 14 with her mother (her father passed away in 1983).
