I know it has been a long wait for you all, and I know the world hasn't really gotten one of these things quite like I have. So, in honor of my fantastic new editor (and my best friend) Sara Aul, I thought I would pose five questions to her. First, is there a reason, anywhere, that the first sentence of the novel isn't a whole lot longer than it needs to be? Do you prefer the shorter version?
